George Jackson

George Jackson Limited Began trading in 1780. The company has a rich heritage of delivering market-leading design, manufacture and installation of specialist plasterwork. George Jackson has one of the largest collections of reverse cut hardwood moulds in the world, which are used by architects and interior designers from around the world as a source of inspiration when developing their schemes. George Jackson has received multiple awards for the projects that they have worked on.

George Jackson Ltd approached us to design a system that we could build into their existing Wordpress site to manage their vast collections of moulds. The system had to:

• Offer the ability to manage/update the collection on the backend
• Allow a front end user to collect a number of molds to create a bespoke catalogue

We designed a bespoke plugin and database that allowed them to manage the collections as required, which included the facility to add images, design files and update any mould. We created a front-end feature to list all relevant categories or search for available moulds with the ability to individually choose a product to add too and generate a custom brochure for the customer.
